Weekly Energy Shifts & Updates – Jan. 1st to Jan. 8th, 2023

Hi Everyone!

Well….here we are! A new calendar year. Though this date holds no particularly powerful astronomical or astrological significance…many people do use this date to start a new lifestyle, begin a new financial year for business, or to shut the door on their past. What does the Cosmic offer you at this time of the year? Let’s reflect on this together…shall we?

I know you are likely excited at the prospect of a new year…new energy…etc…but in your enthusiasm be sure to not get caught up in the latest fads, trends and proliferation of all sorts of promises out there of material success in a short amount of time. Let’s be sure to allow for the Higher Reason to rule things instead.

The Universal Laws are the Laws…. and they don’t change to suit the desires, passions and appetites of the humans external fancies. You will not suddenly be rich overnight with the latest elixir on the market nor with the new marketed words spoken. However….what you can do for yourself will truly be a marked improvement if you FOCUS and deliberately ACT accordingly… on taking charge of your own life.

You are just coming off the spiritual “highs” of the Solstice during the sacred time of approximately December 18th to December 25th, 2022 and now that the “settling” time is upon us…..you can use what you learned from that period of time to your utmost.

First of all….stay calm. The period of December 21st, 2022 to March 20th, 2023 is a very special and sacred time of inner reflection. You wish to delve deeply into what you are discovering about yourself and do not be too quick to fire things out into the public right now. The most important research and discovery will be made during this cycle and it will take you at least another 6 weeks before you even scratch the surface and engage with others globally, professionally or personally. If you get ahead of yourself from impulsivity, you will miss the greater details of your work.

This should be your special private time now. You don’t need to announce to anyone “out there” what you are doing. Speak only to those who share an authentic and sincere interest in your well being.

During the week ahead consider who you are. Reflect on the importance of the health of your body, your nerve system, your rest required, the state of your mind. Do you feel relaxed? Are you peaceful inside? Are you putting too much pressure on yourself?

….and for heavens sake….watch for the pitfalls of “blind leading the blind”. Very common trap that you can be lured into by clever predator advertising. Pull back…right inside of yourself in reflection, meditation, journalling and alignment.

The most effective way of utilizing the energy of this time of year would be to spend more time in contemplation, organization and “scrubbing clean” your foundation.

Remember….Equinox 2023 is less than 3 months away….a time when you are ready to “Spring into action” and launch, birth and begin many new things in your life.

Real innovative, forward thinking, CREATIVE energy that will then be seen in your handiwork…literally that which is written down or drawn….. does not begin until February. You will begin to “click into place” in February, and find it a good time for your written works to be penned into organized thoughts, paintings to be in flow, set design, models, building design…that sort of thing.

This week: CLEAN UP, organize, improve on your current schedule, pay closer attention to what your body, emotions and mental state need. Turn off distractions, “monkey-brain chatter stuff”. Be clear on what you will personally endorse. Do your research on what you bring into your life.
